I like toasted seeded rye bread and am a sucker for a good hot dog if it is on a toasted bun. That was the driving force for this purchase. This toaster complies with these requirements for the most part. After using for a few weeks I am wishing it was a bit better. The digital user interface could be better. My old toaster had a count down timer display that I miss. To change the toasting time (color of toast) the + – button is actually ++++ until it loops to the lowest setting. Not a big deal once you get on to it… but how much time is each setting? I am a single senior with rarely a reason to toast 4 slices of white bread (which I never eat). This appliance does a good job of the oversize Rye & Artisan breads. I have dinged a star because of the mechanical carriage that holds the product. While I like a high end quality hot dog it can sit on a cheap chain store bun (as long as it is toasted!) This toaster’s mechanism seems to grab the sides and not let go… I have to dig out the toasted bun with my wooden tongs… Yes…it fits going in… but wont let go coming out. The raising lever seems useless to help. The other annoyance that forced me to rearrange my counter use was the VERY short electrical cord. (26-28 inches). That may see like a lot until you realize the needed outlet is toward the left side and the toaster is 16 inches long! Seems to provide a fair and uniform color result. Who reheats toast??

So the toaster is great! Does everything they advertise and what you would expect from a toaster. We are on year 3 of owning it in a house with lots of people and it gets a lot of use!
My only complaint is the buttons. The white ink dissolves away after about 6 months. I am the only person who cleans this and I only use GP spray or water on a sponge or paper towel. Once the buttons disappear, it got humorous to watch my kids try to use it. They would frustratingly mash the black plastic until lights turned on or off that achieved their desired result. We don’t change settings too often, so we settled on one setting and try hard to not let it change.
Recently, I obtained a white marker and with the aid of a flashlight, reidentified the buttons. Not very artistic, but it still works! White markers are cheaper than a new toaster, so I will keep it until it dies.

This toaster is a great pick if you want something that looks good, works well, and doesn’t cost a fortune.
What’s Good
Big Slots: Fits thick bread, bagels, and long slices easily.
Easy Controls: Touch buttons and LED display make it simple to use.
Multiple Settings: Six browning levels so you can toast it just right.
Extra Features: Includes Cancel, Defrost, and Reheat options.
Easy to Clean: Removable crumb tray and cord storage keep things tidy.
What’s Not So Great
No Bagel Mode: It doesn’t have a setting just for bagels.
Button Labels Fade: The white ink on buttons can wear off over time.
No Minus Button: You have to keep pressing the “+” to go back to a lower setting.
Final Thoughts
For around $40, it’s a solid toaster that does the job well. It’s stylish, easy to use, and perfect for families. Just be aware of a few small quirks.

Does what it’s suppose to do. I’ve only had it a few days but works well. The only negative is that some bread is too wide to put side to side in the toaster.

Very stylish with easy controls. Toasting is optimal. The length of the toasting area is about one inch short when trying to toast two sourdough bread slices at once and about one inch short when toasting homemade bread slices. Otherwise the generic, off the shelf bread slices work great.

Can toast uneven. 2 slices or 4 or bagels or pop tarts…oddly toasts crescents ok…

Short time use and has worked well during that time

Hard to believe this is a best seller. Maybe because of price. It works well and was reasonably priced. My one hesitation is that it feels so cheap. Lightweight and the cord does not easily adhere to the bottom of the toaster, making it wobbly unless you fuss with it. As far as toasting, it works fine.

advertised as American made.. does not seem to be true.

This toaster is long, 16 inches, and gives off a lot of heat. Would not be safe placed under upper cabinets while in use.
It does toast well and the slots are large enough for bagels and even sliced rolls.
