It is on the pricey side but she is just so cute! She is never angry, sometimes but not always. Definitely a decent size for a desk. I saw a review that said the little toy accessory was not in the package, but I did get the accessory so it might just be a hit or miss. It can be super loud and bright, but there is a setting option and you are able to lower both of those so I thought that was cool. The mini games are a little confusing but cute as well. I just love that I have a tiny robot on my desk I can interact with. My husband was not thrilled because of the price but now he wants one for himself after seeing this cutie!

That was first review. Now I give 4 stars. Energies lab is a brand that puts quality work into there robots. I have had mine for over 2 years, but it’s got a striped gear now and can’t wiggle its buddy I feel bad for him and will send him for repairs. I feel it’s a good toy. It’s good :). Could be better. It didn’t work at first. I started it up and was met with a text menu where his face should have been. I couldn’t find any way to control the menu. From what I saw in youtube video’s, the toy should not have started in that state. I’m wondering if it was used. I suggest buying it directly from the Eilik website. I eventually got it to work after some updates and it’s a really neat novelty item. I’d love to see a future Eilik that teams up with a game developer where the bot would react to the game and be my little sidekick.

I have not given this to my 8 year old daughter for her birthday present as of yet, but after watching videos on social media and from their website. This little guy became a must have. My daughter loves anything related to STEMS. And I do believe that for the parents who have children like myself will all agree that the Energize lab robot line of products will definitely help your children grow and learn. I do want others to understand that this robot is marketed for children and robot enthusiast collectors. This is by no means advanced robotics technology.
