These work pretty well though I was watching these tiny drain flies walk around on the sticky surface. Apparently some of them are just too light to actually stick to the surface.
I mounted these on the wall about 5 feet from the sink in the kitchen island and over the course of 4 days I only caught one fly. There were still a bunch of them zipping around over by the drain, so I had to improvise and get an extension cord and put this right next to the drain. That works much better though is inconvenient.
I think now that this has been by the drain for 4 days or so I have caught most of the flies. I imagine you have to leave this in place for a while to break the cycle of flies so I will continue for a while until I don’t see anymore.

This is basically a fly strip in a new holder for indoors so you will not have an ugly hanging strip in your house. They have added a blue attractor light in a holder that plugs into a standard wall plug, so it captures low flying insects but not those flying near the ceiling. A box of 4 refills cost about $15 so that should be taken into account. How often you need the refills depends on you. I bought a two pack and one had about 12 “kills” and one had just 1 kill in the first week. I probably will only purchase these two and eventual a four pack of the refills.

Got these for houseflies, which it did catch a couple, but not all the flies in the house. Probably not the best option for houseflies. But it caught a bunch of fungus gnats (like many houseplants tend to have), other insects I didn’t realize were in my house, and I think they worked well on mosquitoes. Some months made their way onto the trap. The sticky part is easily removed and the refill cartridge easily installed. No noise detectable, seems durable. You can plug it into the top outlet and plug something else into the bottom one. Not an unattractive device, but it is kind of large, so in a corner outlet is probably best. The blue light shines around it, so I wouldn’t want it in my bedroom, though I guess it’s a good nightlight. I’m not sure if the blue light is dangerous to look at though, so I’d keep it out of my child’s bedroom until I found that out. Overall, I’m happy with the purchase. Depending on how many bugs you have in the house, the sticky trap can last for a long time.

This review is for the Zevo itself, not necessarily whether this is the best deal. I bought it and we are very happy but let’s discuss the effectiveness. We originally started off using only one by the kitchen sink. This was amazing and we didn’t have any “gnats” in the kitchen. We did however notice that there were one or two showing up in the bathrooms. We ordered additional units and now have one by the sink in all the bathrooms, one by the kitchen sink, and one by the kitchen table just for measure. Now let me tell you, these things WORK!! They work 24 hours a day and attract the flying menaces to the sticky insert. They are easy to replace, and they put off a blue light glow that doubles as a nightlight. If you have any “gnats” at all or just want to never see any live ones, get the Zevos!

This thing is phenomenal. I’m a plants person and we recently relocated to a much more humid place and we’re having issues with little gnats. I bought this two pack not expecting much and there has been a noticeable reduction. They are making a huge difference.
There’s a few cons – one is that it uses light to attract the bugs so there’s a massive blue light on these non stop making it limited where we can put them. Part 2 is they take up an outlet and are not small by any means so for effectiveness- you can’t be short on plugs

Well… it’s been less than 24 hours and I’m already sold on this product. Bought it because we’ve had an issue with small gnats and fruit flies in our house… lot of plants in our house and sometimes we forget to wash our bananas from the store. Long story short… roughly 100 were caught by the 2 traps I ordered and installed… each trap caught roughly 50 each in less than 24 hours. I put one in the kitchen and one in the bathroom. I just bought 2 more traps and extra inserts. A bit pricey IMO for the traps… I mean it’s just plastic and sticky tape… but hey… it’s working for me so I’ll pay the price (up to a point.. don’t get crazy). Being able to sit on my couch without a frick’n gnat flying up my nose is priceless. Found that the traps caught the most bugs overnight when I turned off all the lights and the traps were the only lights shining. Woke up this morning and was like .. wow.. ok.. these things really work. Don’t know about large flies or mosquitoes… since we don’t have an issue with those in our house… but they are DEFINITELY working on the tiny gnats/flies.

I was originally skeptical based on some of the negative reviews of this product. For whatever reason, in my extremely clean home and been inundated with these small fruit flies or gnats, whatever they are. I’ve noticed them outside as well and they’re so small. I believe they’re probably getting in through the screens. I have sprayed the apartment and the plants that I have at least three or four times and these things still find a way to survive and get in. So I figured I had nothing to lose and bought two of the Zevo plugins to try. Well I must say that within a day of plugging these in. I started to see results. So I took a couple pictures of what it looks like a few days in use. I am very impressed and glad that I bought these. I didn’t realize how effective this would be. I would not hesitate to recommend this to anybody and I actually have because people have told me they’ve noticed the same thing in their places of work and homes. Maybe it’s all the dry weather we’ve been having. I don’t know but all I know is these work

Very good, it does attract the majority of flies. I guess I will have to refill each cartridge each time? I was wondering about that, do I have to buy one each time? It seems like that is the case.
Si funciona, atrae la mayoría de las moscas y mosquitos. Me estaba preguntando si tengo que comprar un cartucho cada vez? A mi parecer, parece que si.

Amazing product! I have A LOT of house plants. I’ve been dealing with fungus gnats for a few weeks. I’ve treated my plants, but the eggs are still hatching. Zevo insect traps have drawn in these little pests and have exceeded my expectations! Powerful, very sticky, and safe around our dogs! Speaking of dogs, the random house fly that may come in when we take our dog’s out are no longer problematic either! Definitely worth the money. Easy installation, just peel and plug in! Will definitely buy the replacements again! Perfect fit for out home!

If you’re dealing with a fruit fly problem, especially in places like Florida, this product is a game-changer. I’ve been battling a fruit fly infestation all summer, and let me tell you, it’s been a nightmare. I tried several home remedies, including the popular apple cider vinegar with agave or honey, which helped a little, but didn’t work fast enough to stop the flies from breeding. I also gave bug sprays a shot, but those didn’t do much either.
I was hesitant to spend the money on this, especially since it seemed a bit pricey, but I’m so glad I did! In just a week, I saw a huge difference. The traps worked incredibly fast and effectively. Installation was a breeze, and I love the bonus of the soft purple glow they give off at night – it doubles as a subtle nightlight. Plus, these things are seriously sticky – my finger got caught on the adhesive when I changed out a cartridge, so be careful!
If you’re looking for a solution that actually works, I highly recommend giving these a try. Worth every penny!

I was so glad to receive these traps. They work great on the pesky little fruit flies and other small flying pest. They were easily load. I like that they are refillable, The light is a little brighter than I like especially at night. If you need a night light they are perfect.

This is the best insect trap of all time. When I tell you that my house is filled with gnats and flies I mean it. Every day I see one of those buggers and I was tired of it. I bought the trap and man I can see the difference in my house. I could not leave even fruit for a day without fruit flies being all over my bananas. I mean take a look at the trap. I think it speaks for itself. I have bought some for downstairs and upstairs and the cartridges are easy to put on. Just pull the sticker and stick it in the trap. So easy no smell and the light does not bother me at all. Highly highly recommend!

I was super wary that this simple trap would even work. We had an issue with gnats in our house due to them living in the lawn and finding their way inside (Its Kansas in the Summer) Bought two of these and within a few days I noticed that they weren’t buzzing around any more in the house. When I went to replace the traps – an even more pleasant surprise? It caught the house flies as well! Its like a giant nightlight emitting a blue glow that isn’t super bright or invasive. And it doesn’t look like a bug trap. So I would definitely suggest buying one for your kitchen and any other area that your having gnat or fly issues.

Works great. With in minutes I could see bugs stuck to the adhesive part of the insert. It is very effective. Very easy to install. There isn’t any oder, it looks nice. It is built well. I have bought several more and placed them in several places in my house. It’s a great product.

Boy do these things do the job. I can’t tell you how awesome they are to have in the house. They have killed so many bugs. Gnats and flies and even spiders. They’re super sticky so nothing goes free. They’re just silent, soft light, deadly killers. They don’t have an ugly design either which is what convinced my wife to try them. They don’t show any of the bugs they kill. It fits in any room in any outlet with the rotating base/plug-in. I would recommend these a hundred times over. We never had a huge pest problem but in the summer when those little gnats or flies sneak in, these do the job right and keep them from spreading. We have them upstairs and downstairs just to cover all bases. Three total in the house and we don’t ever have to worry about those annoying little bugs flying around.

Does the trick for our gnat issue. Only issue is the price of the refills. They suggest changing the refill every two weeks but that can get pretty expensive. Luckily it took care of our issue.

Bugs in SW Florida are no joke and mosquitoes are creeping in…this lighted plug in did the job after a few days. I bought two more for other rooms.

We have been dealing with a lot of house flies lately. We dealt with a lot of the other issues in the house and sprayed all our counters and the sinks down with vinegar, sprayed the inside and outside with bug spray. These came yesterday and we were still had quite a few of the house flies buzzing around. We woke up this morning and found that it had caught pretty much all of the flies that we had. It’s a quiet, non-invasive, no smell, effective piece of equipment. The flies aren’t going anywhere with the stickiness of the cartridge and it looks like it will be really easy to clean and replace as needed. Highly recommend. I am blown away by how effective and easy it is. Just wait until dark!

It helps to have something near the unit that attracts the gnats and fruitflies. The blue light doesn’t do much by itself.,

These work pretty well. The only thing I didn’t know is, they only work when they are the only source of light. Meaning, at night after you have turned off all other lights. Just so ya know.
